Don't She Look Good

from Tasty Sides by Sons of the Delta

/

about

A straight-ahead Rock'n'Roll song about a girl who... well, looks good!

lyrics

Don’t she look good when her hips start to shake
You know you're in the right place there ain't no mistake
Don't she look fine when she gives you the sign
For you to come on over and have yourself a good time.

Well you know you can't dance when it gets close to three
Bet you wanna take her home, have yourself a wild party
Well she can tempt you with a smile that'll drive you wild
You know she's all grown up, this ain't no young child.

Well she knows what's on your mind
There ain't no use denyin’
What she want’s a natural love,
Can she blame you for tryin'.

In the line you can spot her every time, that's for sure
And ain't it mighty fine when she says she's mine, not yours.

Well she knows what's on your mind
There ain't no use denyin’
What she want’s a natural love,
Can she blame you for tryin'.

In the line you can spot her every time, that's for sure
And ain't it mighty fine when she says she's mine, not yours.

Sons of the Delta was formed by two
south-western UK bluesmen, Mark Cole
(vocals, harp, slide guitar) and Rick
Edwards (guitar, vocals) back in the early
Zeros. They were joined some years later
by drummer Martin Fitzgibbon and more
recently by bass player Lyndon Webb.
They play earthy, passionate blues
flavoured with the many roots music styles
from the southern states of the USA.
